You deserve a strong and healthy smile, and our dentist, Dr. Jeryl Abbott, is happy to help you reach that goal. It’s very important to brush twice a day, floss once a day, rinse with mouthwash daily and attend your checkups every six months. In addition to these things, you can do smaller things throughout the day to help your oral health. Those things are:

-Chew gum: Chewing gum can help your teeth in many ways because it produces saliva. When you produce saliva, the food particles and bacteria can be washed away from your teeth and gums. So, try to chew gum after each meal and throughout the day.

-Eat tooth-healthy foods: There are foods available that can help neutralize the acid in the mouth, like dairy products. This is very beneficial because acid can severely harm the teeth. It attacks and wears down the enamel and makes it weak and vulnerable to cavities.

-Pack your toothbrush: Keep your toothbrush with you throughout the day and try to brush after lunch. This can help you clean your teeth after your meal and can help you avoid promoting dental problems.
